Man touches himself inappropriately in front of schoolgirl at railway station

Police are investigating after a man reportedly touched himself inappropriately while looking at a schoolgirl.

The incident happened at Aber railway station, Caerphilly, at around 2.45pm on April 30.

The girl was on the platform while the man was in a stopped train looking out towards her.

In a statement, British Transport Police said someone alerted the girl to what the man was doing, and she quickly left the station.

The girl has not yet reported the incident to the police. However, officers have appealed for her to come forward so she can be offered support, as well as to help with the investigation.
