A grandfather from Trethomas won a raffle prize on his 60th birthday – a £275,000 supercar of his dreams.
Lorry driver Andrew Olsen bought 40 raffles ticket in the prize draw in the hope of winning the McLaren 720S Spider.
And he will swap his 55mph top speed HGV lorry for one of the world’s fastest supercars with a top speed of 212mph.
Dad-of-two Andrew scooped the bright orange sportscar after paying £25 for 40 tickets in the charity draw to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
And he learned he had won the four-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine car reaching 0-60mph in just three seconds on his 60th birthday.

Family man Andrew, who has three grandchildren, also celebrated his 39th wedding anniversary to wife Liz, just days before winning the prize.
Andrew said: “I found out I’d won on my 60th birthday and was utterly speechless, I can’t comprehend it. I can honestly say it’s the best birthday present I’ve ever had.
“It couldn’t be more different from the lorry I drive for work. As much as I would love to keep this dream car, I will probably sell it, as the money would be life changing for my family.”
Andrew paid £25 for 40 entries to the Omaze Million Pound House Draw and the supercar was just one of the early bird prizes on offer.
The top prize in the draw is a house in Wimbledon, South West London, worth over £3.5million.
He said: “I think what Omaze is doing is amazing because it’s raising money to help GOSH Charity keep doing the incredible work they do to help seriously ill children.”
James Oakes SVP International at Omaze said: “Omaze is a win-win for both charities and entrants. By offering an incredible prize like this spectacular supercar, we’re giving people like Andrew the chance to win, while also introducing charities to an audience they wouldn’t have access to otherwise.”
The draw for a grand London house in iconic Wimbledon raising money for GOSH Charity closes at midnight on Sunday, November 21.
Draw entries are now available at www.omaze.co.uk
