Entrepreneurs will need a big idea to turn this small shop, which is for sale, into a success.

Squeezed between a shoe shop and an opticians in Central Buildings on High Street, Blackwood, the premises measure just 11.5 square metres (123.7 sq ft).

Debra Bisley, of Newport-based Paul Fosh Auctions, is confident the unique space, which is just 1.4m wide and 8.5m deep, will sell.

She said: “We believe that this is surely the smallest shop currently for sale in South Wales. There can’t be many smaller shops for sale in south Wales. Although it’s small it’s in an ideal spot for the right business.
