Caerphilly Flower Festival is back for the first time since 2019

Caerphilly town’s annual flower festival has returned for the first time since the Covid pandemic.

Having last been held in 2019, the festival got underway on Friday, June 17 and will run throughout the weekend.

The free event had been held every summer since 2006, but was cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid restrictions.

As part of the event, an array of flower displays will be set up across the town centre, which can be visited between 10am and 4pm each day.

Caerphilly Library, Twyn Community Centre and Caerphilly Visitors’ Centre will both host floral displays, as will a number of churches across the town.

Displays from the Caerphilly and District Floral Society, Caerphilly Horticultural Society and Glyn Deri Bonsai Club will be on display at Twyn Community Centre and Caerphilly Library.

The event is sponsored by Caerphilly Town Council.

Where are the flower displays?
