Bedwellty Show
The Bedwellty Show returns for the first time since 2019

The Bedwellty Show returns to Llancaiach Fawr, near Nelson, on Saturday, August 20.

The family-friendly event will have livestock, horse exhibits, vintage car and tractor displays, trade stands, craft stalls and more.

This year will mark the 143nd edition of the show, which first moved to Llancaiach Fawr in 2016.

It will be the first time the event has been held since 2019, due the Covid pandemic.

The show formally began in the 1870s, but records show that similar events had been held in and around Blackwood for many years before.

Adult tickets cost £8, while concessions and children under 16 can enter for £5.

Children under the age of five can enter the event free of charge.

A family ticket, which includes up to two adults and three children costs £20.

Free car parking will be available.

For more information about the event, visit bedwelltyshow.co.uk.
