Caerphilly Players amateur dramatics society is all set to captivate audiences with their latest production of the beloved TV comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo!
The show will be staged at Caerphilly Workman’s Hall for three nights, from May 31 to June 2.
‘Allo ‘Allo! is a well-known stage adaptation of the popular British television series created by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd. Set in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, the play follows the misadventures of René Artois, the owner of a small café, as he becomes entangled in a web of espionage, romance, and humorous misunderstandings. With its clever wordplay and slapstick comedy, ‘Allo ‘Allo! has remained a firm favourite among fans of classic British humour.
Both performances will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite for £13.70.
Caerphilly Players, which is based on Nantgarw Road, has a long history spanning more than 40 years, having recently performing shows such as Steel Magnolia’s, Wind in the Willows, Blithe Spirit and Sense & Sensibility.
