Caerphilly County Borough Council is asking people who attended the Bargoed May Fair to provide feedback. 

The town’s first May fair, which took place on May 13 and attracted 16,000 visitors, was Bargoed’s busiest day since footfall counters were installed in 2018.

Council deputy leader Jamie Pritchard hailed the event as a “fantastic day” and said: “I’d like to thank the public, businesses, our events team and Bargoed Town Council for their support. It was a truly awesome day.”

Now, the council is looking for feedback from residents. 

A council spokesperson said: “We are asking for feedback to find out what visitors to the Bargoed May Fair liked and what they didn’t so we can use this data to improve our future events.”

Respondents can enter a prize draw and be in with a chance of winning a £50 gift voucher, which can be spent at Murray’s Bar and Grill. 

The survey closes on June 18 and winners will be selected at random the following week.
