A burglar who had been recalled to prison following his release has now been arrested.

Earlier this month, Gwent Police appealed for information on the whereabouts of 29-year-old Yarran Watkins.

Watkins, who police said is from the Blackwood and Risca areas, was given a four-month jail sentence on April 28 this year.

He was released early on Friday June 9, with certain conditions attached to his release.

However, Gwent Police said Watkins had breached those conditions and had been recalled to prison.

Gwent Police does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.

On Monday July 24, Gwent Police confirmed Watkins had been located and arrested.
