The Irish Tymes pub in Caerphilly town has been rebranded as the Caerphilly Cwtch
The Caerphilly Cwtch

The Caerphilly Cwtch pub on Station Terrace has thanked its customers after announcing it has closed its doors for the final time.

In a post on social media, the pub said: “It’s with regret that the Cwtch has now closed its doors for the last time. I would like to say a huge thanks to all of the customers which are all such characters, you made it such a fun place to work.

“I’d also like to thank all the entertainment that we’ve had in, the security team and most of all the staff that have been absolutely fantastic from day one, who have shown great loyalty and commitment during some difficult times.

“I’m sure our paths will cross again.”

The pub, which was formerly known as The Irish Tymes, and before that The Railway, was listed for sale last week.
