Darts star Gerwyn Price will face Germany’s Martin Schindler in the World Grand Prix quarter-finals on Friday October 6.
Price, from Markham, saw off Dutchman Danny Noppert in the first round of the competition, winning two straight sets in a 2-0 victory.
He went on to knock Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski out of the competition in the second round, winning three straight sets in a 3-0 win.
The other quarter-final match-ups see reigning world champion and world number one Michael Smith take on UK Open champion Andrew Gilding, while Peter Wright and Luke Humphries lock horns.
Chris Dobey and Joe Cullen face off in the other tie.
The competition, which is being held in Leicester, concludes on Sunday October 8.
