A man and a woman from Rhymney have been sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court for drug dealing.
Jack Theobald, 23, of Hill Street, and Aimee O’Connor, 29, of Church Street, were stopped and searched by police in Rhymney on February 9, 2022.
They were both arrested after police found cannabis and phones which indicated the two were dealing from the blue Volkswagen Golf which was being driven by Ms O’Connor.
Theobald pleaded guilty to the supply of cocaine and cannabis, while O’Connor admitted supplying cannabis.
In a sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on October 10, Recorder Alun Eynon-Evans sentenced Theobald to three years and one month in prison.
O’Connor was handed a 12-month community order, a £100 fine and a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
