Update: Gwent Police has confirmed both Paul Williams and Yarran Watkins have been found and arrested

Gwent Police has launched an appeal to find two Blackwood men who have been recalled to prison.

Paul Williams, 51, was handed a one-month and 25-day prison sentence when he appeared at Newport Magistrate’s Court on February 26.

He was released from prison on April 16, but Gwent Police claim he has broken the conditions of his release – and has issued an appeal to find him.

The force does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.

Meanwhile, shoplifter Yarran Watkins, 30, has also been recalled to prison.

Watkins, who has links to Cefn Fforest and Risca, was handed an eight-week jail sentence on January 22

He has since been released, but is also subject to a prison recall having breached the conditions of his release.

Anyone with information on the two men’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting log 2400139534 for Williams, or log 2400093780 for Watkins.

Gwent Police can also be contacted through direct message on social media.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
