Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Caerphilly is celebrating 150 years with a fundraising concert for Christian Aid.
On Friday May 17, performances from Caerphilly Ladies choir, Cwrt Rawlin School choir, and Josef Gray will be held at the church on Pontygwindy Road.
The celebrations also coincide with Christian Aid Week, something church rep Marjorie Gray has been a part of for many years.
She said: “Every year, during Christian Aid Week, people across Britain and Ireland have seven days and so many ways to raise funds to support their global neighbours, in a celebration of hope for a fairer world.
“As well as the concert, we will also be holding collections for Christian Aid at Aldi in Caerphilly on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. We hope to see lots of people at all of our events.”
