Ffos Caerffili will play host to a variety of family-friendly activities this week, including zumba classes, science workshops, and more.
The new shipping container-style market, which opened in Caerphilly town centre in April, is running numerous events throughout the school summer holidays.
Ffos Caerffili is currently home to more than 20 traders, including Joe’s Plant Place and The Circular Studio, and plays host to a wide range of community events, including Pride Caerffili, family events, craft fairs and business networking.

Tuesday August 20
- Joy House: Needle Felted Landscapes : 11am to 2pm
Thursday August 22
There will be a range of activities for children and parents alike on Thursday, with a special performance from Elsa.
The Community Gaming Club will also be running throughout the day, offering a variety of games and activities for all ages.
- Joy House: Family Crafting – Flower Fairy Wings: 10am to 4pm
- Face Painting & Glitter: 10am to 4pm
- Kids Zumba Class: 11am to 2pm and 2pm to 3pm
- Spark Lab Science Workshop: 12pm to 1pm
- Performance From Elsa: 1pm to 2pm
- Live Music from Loafus: 3.15pm to 4.15pm
- Community Gaming Club: 12pm to 10pm
Saturday August 24
Saturday promises to be a mix of music and community, with the Record Shop open for vinyl enthusiasts, and Cardiff Dogs Home on site with opportunities to meet and support rescue dogs.
The evening will feature live performance by soul-man Trystan Hughes, followed by tracks from all decades to soundtrack the evening.
- Record Shop: 12pm to 6pm
- Cardiff Dogs Home Visit: 12pm to 4pm
- Trystan Hughes Performance: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Evening Music: 8.30pm to 10pm
Sunday August 25
The week of events wraps up with the Welsh ICE fair, where local entrepreneurs will showcase their products.
- Welsh ICE Fair: 10am to 4pm
