Markham’s Gerwyn Price will go into next month’s Worlds Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam as the second seed.
Price lifted the World Series Finals title in 2022, and the Iceman will be the number two seed on his return to the Dutch capital, courtesy of wins at the Nordic Darts Masters and Australian Darts Masters this year.
The three-day invitational event will feature an expanded 32-player field, with 24 of the qualifiers now confirmed for September’s showpiece.
Joining Price in the Netherlands are the likes of Dutch superstar Michael van Gerwen, teenage sensation Luke Littler, and world number one Luke Humphries.
The competition gets underway on September 13, and concludes on September 15.
