Gerwyn Price has been handed a tough opening fixture in this weekend’s Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel.
Price, from Markham, will enter the competition in the second round on Saturday September 28, where he will face either world number 13 Dimitri van den Bergh, or world number 18 James Wade.
The event, which begins on Friday September 27 and concludes on Sunday September 29, is part of the PDC European Tour.
World number seven Price, will be looking to put an end to a recent spell of disappointing results as he bids for glory in Switzerland.
