There was more disappointment for Gerwyn Price over the weekend as the Iceman suffered a second round defeat at the Swiss Darts Trophy.
Price, from Markham, entered the competition, in Basel, in the second round, where he faced a tough clash with James Wade.
However, Price was knocked out of the competition following a 6-4 defeat to Wade, who went on to reach the quarter-finals.
The competition was eventually won by Germany’s Martin Schindler, who came back from 7-4 down to defeat Ryan Searle 8-7 in the final.
