The new shop opened on Castle Street, Caerphilly

Caerphilly Lettings have opened their new premises in Caerphilly town centre with the help of a local veterans group.

The “community-driven” letting agency run by business partners Byron Jones, Craig Coombs, and Tom Collins, opened on Castle Street, Caerphilly, earlier this month.

Mr Jones said how the agency aims to work closely with landlords and property owners, offering assistance and “innovative solutions” to transform unused spaces into homes.

To launch the opening, Caerphilly Veterans were part of the ribbon cutting ceremony, with Mr Jones adding: “We feel deeply passionate about supporting veterans and look forward to collaborating with them over the coming months to find a meaningful venue where they can operate more effectively.”

On the business itself, he said: “Our mission is simple. To make a difference by creating a lettings agency that is truly embedded in the community.

Caerphilly Veterans were there to welcome the business to the town

“We approached Tom, the founder of Caerphilly Lettings, because we saw an opportunity to establish a new kind of agency, one that not only manages properties but actively supports the high street and the wider community.

“To achieve this, we offer two primary solutions; either purchasing empty properties themselves or collaborating with landlords who may need additional assistance to bring their properties back to the market.

“While our agency welcomes other landlords to join, our focus remains on building a service that is approachable and genuinely impactful.”
