A man from Ystrad Mynach has been recognised at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards for his successful start-up company.

Cai Llewellyn is the founder of VoltSecure, which is based in Pontypridd. Now celebrating its third year of business, the award recognises its “resilience and impact” on the community in that time.

With a combined 50 years experience in the electrical and security industry, the company’s staff thanked customers for the recognition at the awards ceremony, which was held in London earlier this month.

Described as a “benchmark for excellence” by the judges at the awards, VoltSecure founder Mr Llewellyn said: “It feels amazing to have the recognition for all the hard work myself and my team have put in to
building up VoltSecure, I’m also humbled to be awarded as the winner at a national awards ceremony.”
