Gerwyn Price saw off Florian Hempel in straight sets to book his place in the darts World Masters second round.
Price, from Markham, beat his German opponent 3-0 in Milton Keynes on Thursday January 30.
The Iceman kicked off proceedings with a 127 checkout on the bull, and that set the tone for a dominant display which saw him relinquish just one leg on his way to victory.
He will now face Australia’s number one Damon Heta in the second round on Saturday February 1.
The competition champion will take home a £100,000 prize, with £50,000 on offer to the runner-up.
The World Masters concludes on Sunday February 2. It will be followed by the return of Premier League Darts, which kicks-off in Belfast on Thursday February 6.
