Businesswomen across Caerphilly will soon have a new space to connect and collaborate, with a networking group set to launch in the town centre.

Women in Business Network (WIBN) was set up in 2024 by Isabella Rossi and Rhianne Mordecai, who already run two successful groups in Llandaff.

This April, a third group will be set up in Caerphilly, where both Isabella and Rhianne are from.

With around 20 members per group, these meetings have quickly become a “valuable hub” for women looking to grow their businesses through recommendations and introductions.

The group aims to “bring together like-minded women to support one another and build lasting professional relationships”, according to Isabella.

She said: “The inspiration for the new group came after I attended the Caerphilly Business Club International Women’s Day event at Geshmak Bistro, owned by Francesca Keirle.

“The energy in the room from Caerphilly women was incredible. There’s a real appetite for a supportive space where women can share ideas, form strong business connections, and help each other succeed.”

The Caerphilly WIBN group will follow the format of its Llandaff counterparts, offering monthly meetings that “combine structured networking, brunch, and a business member spotlight”.

Alongside the main meetings, members can benefit from additional coffee meetups and social events.

The new group will be holding their launch at Geshmak Bistro, on Clive Street, on Friday April 11 between 10am and 12pm.

After the launch, monthly meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month at the same venue.

Businesswomen who would like to get involved can call Isabella on 07834 640083 or Rhianne on 07980 006467. You can also email on rhianne.mordecai@wibn.co.uk.
