Caerphilly 10k returns this weekend

The annual Caerphilly 10k and 2k races return on Sunday May 11, with roads set to close as part of the event.

Crescent Road will be closed from 6am to 1pm on race day, while closures will be in place along Cardiff Road between 9am and 12pm. Additionally, the stretch of road between Bedwas Bridge roundabout and Van Road will be fully closed from 9.30am to 12pm.

Further closures include Piccadilly Square (9am to 10.15am), Pontygwindy Road (9.30am to 10.45am), and eastwards on the road between Pwllypant roundabout and Bedwas Bridge roundabout (9am to 11.30am).

However, access between Lansbury Park and Mornington Meadows will be maintained during the day, Caerphilly County Borough Council has confirmed.

However, parking restrictions will be in place on Van Road and Pontygwindy Road.
