Caerphilly Library will host an introduction to role-playing games this weekend.

The taster event, which is being organised by Caerphilly Table-Top Gamers Society (CTG), is running between 10am and 3.30pm on Saturday June 21.

The event coincides with ‘Free RPG Day‘ – which is a national event celebrating role-playing games.

Over the years, CTG has welcomed hundreds of children and adults to its gaming hubs across Caerphilly County Borough.

Gaming society secures grant to expand and help ‘upskill’ young unemployed adults

Earlier this year, the group received a £20,000 grant – part of which will go towards helping upskill unemployed young adults.

Thanks to that support, from the National Lottery Community Fund, it can now expand several of its community engagement projects.

A number of role-playing games will be played at the event, but there is limited space for each game. To book in advance, contact Caerphilly Library on 02920 853911 or email libcaer@caerphilly.gov.uk

The event is open to anyone aged eight or older.
