Gerwyn Price has been drawn against Jonny Tata at this weekend’s New Zealand Darts Masters.
Price, from Markham, faces the Kiwi in the opening round of the 16-player competition, which is being played in Auckland between Friday August 15 and Saturday August 16.
The competition follows on from last weekend’s Australian Darts Masters, where Price fell to a quarter-final defeat to Chris Dobey.
Now, after travelling across the Tasman Sea, Price will be aiming for his second New Zealand Darts Masters win, having been victorious in the 2022 edition.
With the same format as the Australian event, the New Zealand Darts Masters will see eight of the world’s top stars battling it out against eight top talents from Oceania.
