Gerwyn Price begins his darts World Grand Prix campaign in Leicester on Tuesday, where he faces Ryan Searle in the opening round.
Price, from Markham, will be bidding to lift the trophy for a second time, having won it back in 2020.
He missed out in the final the following year, losing to Jonny Clayton, before Luke Humphries beat Price in the 2023 final.
The 32-player competition, with a prize pot of £600,000, gets underway on Monday October 6 and concludes with the final on Sunday October 12.
