Polls have now opened in the Caerphilly Senedd by-election.

Voters will be electing a new Senedd Member to represent the Caerphilly constituency in the Welsh Parliament.

The by-election follows the sudden passing of incumbent Labour MS Hefin David, who died in August, aged just 47.

Polls opened at 7am on Thursday October 23, and will remain open until 10pm.
