
Castle Gate Indian Restaurant in Caerphilly has been named as a finalist in this year’s Welsh Restaurant Awards.
The restaurant, based on Castle View, has been shortlisted in the Indian Restaurant of the Year category as part of the national awards, which recognise restaurants across Wales for their contribution to the dining sector.
Organised by Oceanic Awards, the Welsh Restaurant Awards aim to celebrate the range of restaurants and fine dining establishments across the country and recognise the dedication of businesses delivering quality dining experiences.
Castle Gate is among ten finalists in its category, with winners set to be announced at an awards ceremony at The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff on Monday, March 23.

The Caerphilly restaurant has been recognised at previous awards ceremonies, having previously won honours at the Food Awards Wales.
The winners of the Welsh Restaurant Awards 2026 will be revealed at a black-tie event attended by finalists from across Wales.
