Gerwyn Price won Premier League Darts Night 12 in Liverpool
Gerwyn Price

Gerwyn Price reached the semi-finals as Premier League Darts headed to Cardiff for Night 5 on Thursday March 5.

Price, from Markham, came from behind to beat last week’s winner Stephen Bunting 6-5 in the opening round at the Utilita Arena, setting up a semi-final encounter with reigning world champion Luke Littler.

However, Littler proved too strong for Price on the night – winning 6-3. Littler went on to beat another Welshman – Jonny Clayton – in the final to deny the Cardiff crowd a Welsh victor.

Littler moves up to third in the standings following his victory – one place behind Price, who rises from fourth following his performance in Cardiff.

Clayton remains top of the standings as Premier League Darts heads to Nottingham for Night 6 on Thursday March 12 – where Price and Littler lock horns once again in the opening round.

Price wins his first PDC ranking title of the year
