Gerwyn Price will compete at tonight’s Premier League Darts play-offs at London’s O2 Arena.
Price, 41, from Markham, will be joined by Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, as well as Welsh number one Jonny Clayton, in the showpiece on Thursday May 28.
The Iceman will take on Littler in the semi-final, with the winner playing either Humphries or Clayton in the final.
Price secured his play-off berth after finishing fourth in the eight-man standings, earning two night victories in the process.
His victories came on Night 2 in Antwerp, Belgium, and on Night 9 in Manchester.
Price has never won Premier League Darts – and is the only player in the play-offs without a Premier League title to his name. He was beaten by Michael Van Gerwen in 2023’s play-off final, and fell at the semi-final stage last year following a defeat to Littler.
“This is probably one of the Premier League campaigns I’ve enjoyed the most,” said Price.
“The crowd have been right behind me and I’m getting great support week in, week out.
“I’ve been under so much pressure in previous years which has definitely made me a better player, and now they’re with me, it spurs me on even more.
“It feels like any of the four of us can win it. It’s going to be tough, but I believe I can do it and I’m there to win.”
