One of Caerphilly’s best-known Indian restaurants has brought back its popular Sunday buffet – giving diners the chance to enjoy an “eat all you like” experience every weekend.

Castle Gate Indian Kitchen and Bar, based at Castle View Shopping Centre on Nantgarw Road, has reintroduced the buffet following strong demand from customers.

The restaurant says the offer officially returned on Sunday, May 10, and will now run every Sunday from 1pm until 7pm.

The buffet is priced at £17.65 per adult, with children under 12 eating for half price. Diners can help themselves to a selection of pan-Indian dishes, with the restaurant promising a wide range of flavours and freshly prepared favourites.

Castle Gate has become a familiar name on the Caerphilly food scene over recent years, picking up a number of awards including Restaurant Guru’s “Best Food Delivery in Caerphilly” and recognition at the Welsh Restaurant Awards.

Alongside the return of the Sunday buffet, the restaurant has also introduced a number of other offers aimed at making dining out more affordable. These include a Tuesday banquet night, discounts on takeaway collections ordered online, and reduced prices across its menu.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said: “We want to help people with their budgets so they can still enjoy a delicious meal – whether that’s in their home with a takeaway or dining in with us.”

The restaurant remains open for normal à la carte dining and takeaways every Sunday from 1pm until 11pm.
