Hungry Welsh fans up early on Saturday for the big match will be able to grab a free sausage roll thanks to Bedwas firm Peter’s Pies.

As one of the Millennium Stadium’s official suppliers, fans will be used to tucking into Peter’s popular products during internationals but for this mouthwatering game, the pies will literally come to the pitch as the Peter’s Giant Pie positions itself firmly at the centre of the action.

Peter’s marketing controller, Clare Morgan can’t wait to be a part of one of the biggest games in Welsh rugby history.

She said: “As soon as we heard that the Millennium Stadium would be opening up to fans, we knew we had to be there and the Giant Pie is the perfect vehicle for the job!

“Fans can tuck into their breakfast without missing a minute of what is sure to be such an exciting game as we’ll be right there ready to feed them.

“It’s a huge day for Wales and everyone at Peter’s is right behind the team. They’ve done us proud so far so here’s hoping we can go all the way!”

Peter’s will be giving away free sausage rolls to the first 500 fans who visit the Giant Pie on Saturday morning.
