A woman has died in after the Peugeot she was driving hit a lamp post in Cwmfelinfach.
The black Peugeot 206 crashed on New Road at 11pm on Friday February 10. The woman driver and a male passenger were both taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
Gwent Police said the woman, who had head injuries, was was pronounced dead on Saturday.
The passenger, who had minor injuries, has been released from hospital.
