Free places for Caerphilly County Borough organisations at national conference

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 17:00, Thursday May 26th, 2011.

Wales’ leading housing and homelessness charity is offering small organisations in Caerphilly the chance to attend its highly regarded annual conference for free.

With support from Caerphilly County Borough Council, Shelter Cymru has five free places at its conference for poorly funded organisations from the area.

Danielle Lavin of Shelter Cymru said: “Our conference is a great opportunity for people to network and share ideas, and while we keep costs as low as possible we know that some small charities and organisations still find it a struggle to attend.

“Caerphilly Council has been very generous in sponsoring five places at our conference this year so that local organisations that would benefit from attending but can’t afford the fees don’t have to miss out.”

The conference takes place in Swansea on June 30 until July 1.
