The community of Newbridge is to march united in support of missing man Kyle Vaughan.
Friends and relatives have organised the walk for Saturday March 30.
A message on the event’s Facebook page reads: “You are invited to show your support for missing Kyle Vaughan by joining us in a walk to demonstrate a community united by the unanswered questions surrounding Kyles disappearance.
“We ask that you wear the colour red or if you are a fan the Man United strip. At 2.45pm we will meet at The Calzaghe Bridge (Newbridge Leisure Centre).
“At 3pm we will walk together through Kyle’s home town to The Newbridge Memo (High Street) where you will have the opportunity to leave messages of support and light a candle for Kyle.
“We will also take this opportunity to present money raised through The Celtic Heart Bracelet Appeal to SARA (Search and Rescue Team who have volunteered their time looking for Kyle)”
Mr Vaughan, 24, was last seen on December 30, 2012.
The last believed sighting of him was on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys, some time between 11pm and 11.45pm.
It is believed he was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat, a dark coloured t-shirt, three-quarter length denim shorts, white trainers, and a gold chain.
On the same night at approximately 11.45pm, officers found Mr Vaughan’s car – a silver Peugeot 306 – which had been involved in a collision.
Detectives are treating the investigation as a murder inquiry and have arrested and released several people in connection with Mr Vaughan’s disappearance.
