The cyclist and minibus were travelling in the same direction on the A472 towards Newbridge when the incident happened at around 8.05pm.

A 43-year-old man, who was the driver of the minibus, was left uninjured and was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. He has been released pending further inquiries.
