The White Rose Centre in New Tredegar will play host to a range of taster sessions and workshops to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day on Thursday October 10.
One in four people will have experienced an episode of mental illness at some point in their lives, and the aim of the World Mental Health Day is to promote the importance of good mental health, provide advice and information and take away the stigma surrounding mental illness.
Activities at the White Rose Centre in New Tredegar will include information and advice stalls, representatives from public, private and voluntary sector organisations, taster sessions and workshops. Information stands and interactive quizzes will be available at the Asda stores in Blackwood and Caerphilly.
