The Caerphilly branch of charity Save the Children recently held a volunteer day at the town’s Twyn Community Centre.
The event highlighted the work done by the charity, through several of its projects, and was attended by volunteers from across South Wales and Caerphilly Town Mayor Colin Elsbury.
Cllr Elsbury said: “This was a real eye-opener for me in terms of understanding the work that Save The Children do. It was good to see that they have plenty of support and the branch is going so well.”
