Charity St David’s Hospice Care has thanked two companies for their fundraising efforts.
Modplan’s Abercarn branch raised £2,620.50 after a team of employees took part in the charity’s Three Peaks of Wales challenge while Sainsbury’s Pontllanfraith employees Linda Korczynski and Jon Lloyd, together with staff and customers, helped raise £500 during hospice care week.
The store had collections and a raffle during the week in support of their local hospice.
The charity said it would also like to thank raffle winner Geoff Poole, who decided to donate the hamper he had won, to St David’s.
