Leisure centre visits up in Caerphilly County Borough

Leisure Centres in Caerphilly County Borough received a record 1.25 million visits during 2012/13, an increase of 11% on the previous year.

Cllr Dave Poole, Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure Centres, said: “We are really bucking the trend here in Caerphilly County Borough.

“As a council we are determined to improve the health and wellbeing of all our residents and I firmly believe that encouraging people into sport and physical activity is pivotal in achieving this.”

    Hopefully they can refurbish it soon. It still has an old and tired, late 80's, early 90's feel to it.
