A bonnet was stolen from a parked car at Morrisons car park in Caerphilly town.
Police are appealing for information after the theft which took place on Wednesday November 27 between 11.30am and 4.55pm
The car bonnet was stolen from a 2008 black Ford Fiesta.
Anyone with information should call Gwent Police on 101 and quote Log 315 27.11.13.
Let's hunt down those responsible, lock them up, throw away the key and give them only the bare minimum to survive.
How dare you suggest something so cruel Sid. Thee people who stole a bonnet may be criminals but they are still humans. Yes they need to be imprisoned but it should only be for two weeks so they still feel connected to society. Long sentences will make them feel disconnected from society and they will be more likely to re-offend.
Whilst in prison they should be given medical treatment faster that we receive similar treatment so they know that they are still loved and they should be given high speed internet access, Sky TV and comfortable surroundings so they can see how nice life can be and they will be inclined to work for that upon release.
Also, they should be given a whole range of food to choose form. It's not right that we can walk into the supermarket and have all of the food to choose from and they only have a choice of three. They need plentiful food to to keep up the idea of making them feel loved? What happens if they are religious? Do we feed them meat that hasn't been killed in the correct way or do we stick to bread and water?
When released, let's give them M&S vouchers so they can experience nice food and nice things and be encouraged to work towards it.
Labour was heading in the right direction with the introduction of internet, gyms and televisions. They also handed out food vouchers and money to prisoners on release but the coalition has cut that and now prisoners are treated like second class citizens. It's not right. Let's give them the vote too!
Or they just re offend to go back to that warm cozy prison. Pensioners should be smashing windows and robbing hoodies to get out of heating bills. At least then they would hsve food and heating.
U`m Am I missing something here?. No-one has expressed any surprise that this theft, OF A CAR BONNET, took place, in broad daylight, at the very busiest time for activity in this car park, in the centre of Caerphilly Town, and under the noses of a number of CCTV cameras, on the `Beat` of local Community Support Officers and Police Officers in Cars, under the nose of a CAR PARK ATTENDANT who is on a mission to issue as many parking tickets as possible for any not parking properly in this car park, and, on a main `walk through` rout to Mirrisons Store. Is it April the First?????? Unbelievable.
Eagle eyed law enforcement Street Wardens catch Dogs defecating, and catch smokers dropping a cigarette end, but, no-one noticed anyone removing the bonnet of an unattended car?.
What chance is there of catching the culprits if the act in the above circumstances passed ` unnoticed`?. This has to be one of the most incredulous incidents to be reported since Caerphilly became a `Police Outpost`.
This happened in the overflow car park behind Morrisons where the staff are forced to park as Morrisons only give a certain amounts of permits to each store. The area is not covered by cctv and can't be seen from the road as it's obscured by trees. This was done during daylight hours and this wasn't the only one that day either! Another car (same make/model) parked by Tonyfelin church off Bedwas Road suffered the same fate….sad world we live in!!
Someone trying to build a Fiesta ? Police Could start by checking all Black Fiesta owners in the area, I bet one of em has had a prang and needs rebuilding.
