Newbridge man Kyle Vaughan, 24, was last seen on December 30 last year when his damaged silver Peugeot 306 was found on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys.
Known to friends as ‘Jabbers’, the former Cwmcarn High School pupil is suspected to have been murdered.
Last month detectives said they believed one vital piece of information could be enough to solve the case.
Detective Chief Superintendent Peter Jones, head of Gwent Police CID, said: “There is still information out there which has not been passed to the police.
“It might be that one missing piece of the jigsaw which brings everything together.”
Earlier this year charity Crimestoppers offered a £5,000 reward in a bid to shed new light on the investigation into Mr Vaughan’s disappearance.
