Caerphilly small businesses urged to take part in technology survey

Business, News | | Published: 17:08, Tuesday May 20th, 2014.

Businesses in Caerphilly are being invited to help in a technology research project.

The Federation of Small Businesses in Wales and Cardiff Metropolitan University are looking for SMEs in the county to take part in a survey into the uptake of new technology by businesses.

FSB Wales Policy Manager Dr Rachel Bowen said: “This is an important piece of research for us, and we really want SMEs in Caerphilly to tell us about their experiences so that we can learn more about why businesses embrace particular new technologies.

“We are keen to hear about some of the barriers businesses have encountered when they try to use new technologies.”

To obtain a link to the survey businesses can contact Cardiff Metropolitan University researcher Dr Hilary Berger at hberger@cardiffmet.ac.uk or call her on 02920 416320.
