Four Caerphilly-based companies are helping other local businesses in their quest for success by supporting a new awards scheme.
United Welsh Housing, transport services specialists Glenside Commercials, Rob Morris Groundworks and Tower Print are all sponsors of the EPIC (Enterprising People in Communities) Awards, designed to recognise the achievements of some of the Welsh valleys’ most innovative social enterprises.
The EU-funded South East Wales Community Economic Development (SEWCED) programme, which comes to an end in August 2015 after five years, will be rewarding the cream of the region’s community organisations at a presentation dinner at the Vale Resort, Vale of Glamorgan in March.
