New Oakdale base for Teleshore Group

Business, News | | Published: 11:00, Monday August 10th, 2015.

A cemetery and crematorium supplies company has expanded into new premises in Oakdale Business Park.

The Teleshore Group was previously based in Llanhilleth, in Blaenau Gwent, where it began life 20 years ago.

Facing unprecedented demand for its products and services, the company outgrew its premises and approached the Industrial Property team in Caerphilly County Borough Council with the hope of finding a suitable property to meet their needs.

They eventually secured a 5,127 sq ft unit in Oakdale Business Park.

Peter Smith, Director of the Teleshore Group, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have moved into our new premises and with the superb assistance given to us by the team at Caerphilly County Borough Council, we now have the opportunity to expand our businesses further both in the UK and our markets overseas.”

The Teleshore Group bring 16 jobs with the move and are hoping to create four new positions over the coming months.

Cllr Ken James, Cabinet member for Regeneration, Planning and Sustainable Development, said: “It is with pleasure that we welcome the Teleshore Group to their new home in Oakdale Business Park. We have supported them through a Business Development Grant to assist with the fit out of their new premises and towards the creation of the new roles.”
