Council services leave Pontllanfraith office

News | | Published: 15:00, Thursday October 15th, 2015.

Several services run by Caerphilly County Borough Council have moved out of Pontllanfraith House, as the authority gets ready for its closure.

The council has decided to close its Pontllanfraith office to save money and is looking to sell-off the site.

Ahead of the planned closure next year, Trading Standards, Licensing, Environmental Health and the Community Safety departments have now moved to the council’s main offices at Penallta House near Ystrad Mynach.

Telephone numbers for each department have remained the same.
Planning, Housing and Engineering Services will be moved later this year.

Anyone wanting to contact the council about the closure can contact its main switchboard on 01443 815588. The emergency out of hours number for the council is 01443 875500.
