A Caerphilly-based company took a starring role in a parade marking toy store Hamley’s 255th anniversary.

DJTruck.com, based on Caerphilly Business Park, was asked by the famous London toy store to provide four of its vehicle for the parade, held last month in the UK capital.

Mike Parry, General Manager of DJTruck.com, said: “The vehicles are actually converted Land Rover Defenders wrapped in eye-catching colours and designs; but the real magic happens when we hit the brakes.

“We attach large sound systems to the sides and literally raise the roof to create a platform for DJs and singers to perform from, right there on the back of the truck. It’s really cool and unusual.”

The company has said it has experienced significant growth over the last 12 months and hopes to continue its growth over the next year.
