Two people were treated for burns this morning, December 23, after a house fire in Cefn Fforest.
Firefighters from Aberbargoed were called at 7.30am to an address in Pencoed Avenue.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty electric blanket in a bedroom, but was out by the time firefighters had arrived.
One person was taken to the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil for burns to her ankles and feet.
Another person was treated at the scene by paramedics for burns to his knee.
