Two adults and a child were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a house fire in Senghenydd.
Crews from Caerphilly and Aberbargoed were called to the house in High Street at 2.47am, on January 2.
The fire was in a bedroom and on the landing of the house.
In a separate incident, firefighters from Caerphilly were also called to a deliberate car fire near the Maenllywd Inn, Rudry, at 10.42pm on January 1.
