Gwent Police are appealing for information after a 57-year-old man was assaulted during the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The man was walking home along Jones Street, Phillipstown, New Tredegar at around 1.30am on Friday January 1.
Three to four men approached the man and attacked him – kicking him to the floor. The man suffered minor injuries, including cuts and bruising on face and arms. No items were taken from him.
