A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after police were called to an address in Ystrad Mynach earlier today, Tuesday, May 3.
Gwent Police said officers attended the address in Nelson Road, Ystrad Mynach at 5.45pm following a call from the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Chief Inspector Carl Williams, of Gwent Police, said: “On arrival, the body of a woman was discovered. Her death is being treated as suspicious.
“A 47-year-old male was arrested at that location on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.”
